Skirmish at Cooper's Ferry

On March 2, 1778,  a skirmish broke out between American forces, led by General Anthony Wayne and Count Casimir Pulaski, and British troops, led by Major John Simcoe, at Cooper’s Ferry.  This took place between Sixth Street, Market Street, and Cooper’s Creek Bridge.  The British troops were driven across the river to Philadelphia.
